Yes, even better! Though in a 2CV’s case, not sure how it could be considered ‘racing blue’ :P

Same! I’ve never seen one up close in person yet other than that SM I’ve mentioned before....would love to be able to see a 2CV up close!

I have seen them and the Dyane (well, the van version) in person, but always driving the other way...

And they get about the same fuel economy, too. Though I think the 2CV might have a very  slight edge in normal use.

So you have seen just the two but occasionally?

I saw a yellow Beachcomber edition once and I sat in a custom bodied 2CV at a car show once that was a wagon but with a front that looked a little like a Traction Avante. I’ve posted those pics in comments to you before so I won’t dig them up now but they were superb! It was sitting in the 2CV that really got me excited.

The removable lawn chair seats are very springy but surprisingly comfortable and I imagine aren’t terrible for holding you in your seat. Great visibility. The umbrella shifter looked as though it would fall very easily to hand. Everything was laid out simply and straightforward. The door latch was also somewhat confusing in just how simple it is.

I’ve never seen a D yane though. I’m a bit jelly. It’s even an off-road van!

My main takeaway from the HY Van is that they aren’t much longer  than a normal car and very narrow. The proportions make them seem wide but they ain't.
